In addition, COMFOR-PEDIC™ mattresses have a softer more luxurious feel due to the 13 ILD compression rating. In rating foam compression or stiffness, the higher the number the firmer the foam. Originally developed for NASA in the 1970s. It was designed to conform to any individual's body and relieve the pressure astronauts experienced during lift-off and flight. |

| Giving Back to the Community Giving back to the community has been one of Foamzone’s main objectives. In an effort to end hunger, Foamzone has been committed to feeding the homeless once a month in downtown San Jose. Due to the budget cuts in California, some of the shelters cut back on providing breakfast and lunch every 3rd Sunday of each month. So to fill that void, we have been providing hot meals every 3rd Sunday for the past 10 months. So when you purchase a mattress with us, we will donate $20 to feed the homeless.
